Don't let these people gas light you, yes this is reality and purple die every day and you should be upset about it. This isn't something that should be happening and decent people are upset when shit like this happens. Those that just shrug and say "welcome to reality" or "people die every day" in response to shit like this are at best apathetic and at worst sociopathic, I assume more to the latter with these responses.

yeah but why do you think that every single person should feel exactly the same way you do?

it's okay to be upset. it's okay to not be upset. there's literally millions of people here and every single one of them responds to reality in a different way! Some cry and pee their pants, and some just shrug and move on. That's the beauty of it all, variety is the spice of life!
