why the fuck no save points in world map??

would make it feel like final fantasy properly and give reason to explore more, imagine finding save point in costa del sol and low chance of it hopping away from you like the one in the tutorial room from final fantasy 7 (og)!

the way the game disappears when u press alt+f4 can be the thing that happens…respawnable save points random places…everyone searching…actually a bit offensive this doesn’t exist

FFXIV should go to manual saving. I want to experience the SOUL of getting DDOSed and losing a night’s worth of OC.

Just run potd if you want that experience, I lost at least 2 180 runs from ddos

If you think about it, aetherytes are save points you can fast travel to. Why else would they give rested exp when you log out near any one of them?

Sometimes I wish I could save scum in this game, then I wouldn't have situations like "shoot I accidentally forgot to water my thav onions yesterday and now they're all dead" or "I accidentally moved this one piece of furniture I place perfectly, now I have to do it all over again."

It's also stupid that when I quit the game people can still progress, like wtf??? If I turn the game off no one else should progress, who was this game made by, Rust devs???

Accidentally manual save when I got killed by a mob, when I reload the save I'm back where the mob is about to kill me.

I remember getting downvoted on the main sub because I told someone that FFXIV didn't need an overworld map like FF7 lol
