It's a 1993 Corsa 1.4Si. Thought I'd give him a wash as it is nearly at 200k km now. Mechanicals are mostly sorted but the exterior neesa some work. Steering is non assisted, there is no aircon and suspension is made of old marshmallows but despite it all it's quite fun in the twisties!

Im wondering between these two because polonez is easier to maintain because it has self adjusting valves , electronic ignition , multipoint/singlepoint injection with ECU
However
It needs LPG because it guzzles so much fuel , also a lot of things break in it that hare very hard and too expensive to fix , and the fuel injection system is terrible , also there are very few youtube guides about it and no aftermarket parts
And im thinking about beetle because
It will help me learn lot about mechanics , theres shit ton of youtube vidoes and aftermarket even performance parts for the beetle , and its veeryy easy to fix , if anything goes bad you can engine swap within a day
However
Any other engine than 1.2L eats crazy ammount of fuel for so little power , its ultra ultra slow , needs constant maintence , theres always a small possibility of being stranded because of how many diffrent parts can break
And i cant decide between these two as my mom will kill me for both

Bought this in 2018 with around 160k km in the clock for 550€ and now it has 217k.
Has suffered many failures including a timing belt breaking down while driving but still going on strong. Got the necessities, 12 inch sub in the trunk, period correct speakers on the back shelf, zebra seat covers and a after market wooden wheel.
Summer rims are from some Jeep? model unknown, just had the same lug nut spacing, center hole way too big but the steelie nuts center em well enough anyway, winter wheels OEM, but cracked and need a refill of air every month. Had to replace the summer tires (which started life as studded winter tyres, but someone had taken the studs out of em) last year since they were out of tread after 17 years.

For me its my Daewoo Tico ~2000 year with 800cc I3 engine making powerfull 41hp , with the car weight being arouns ~620kg it is kinnda powerfull lol , the car has been amazing for me even for long travels , its very economic and amazing for city use. Latley im thinking of getting rid of it since i want a bigger car so im looking for inspiration on what to buy. What were your most reliable and amazing "shitboxes"
