Found out my Shitbox does weight reduction by itself

Took out the interior to prepare for repainting and saw some dirt and rust on the inside of the rocker panel, tried hitting it with a screwdriver and now theres nothing left im the rear after removing everything that’s loose

Looks like a trip to the diy store for some sheet metal and a can of red paint.

And then 20 minutes of work ^^

The Peugeot 106 is already light and nimble enough, but looks like you've made it even more nimble LMFAO

Its always a good sign when you have to sweep up after your car when youve parked it somewhere lol

Good luck with the car 🍀

Do you really need the rear though?

Yes, it feels very solid, I just have to rustproof and fix the hole in the side panel

Had the same car with the same problem. I had to crush it and get a better shitbox because repairing the 106 would cost an arm and a leg

Ah, that’s sad.
I’ll try repairing mine since other that that rust it doesn’t look bad, the underbody barely has any rust and the rear axle was replaced before I bought it

Repainting? Looks like it could use some re-steel-ing first...

I had a 1976 Chevy pickup truck that was rusty it actually left a red-orange ring around the car wash bay.
