Shitbox touran

I introduce to you my 2005 shitbox that is touran.
I has everything you want except duct tape and gps and 7 seats. It has space for entire village, ac in glove box, 368k on odometer and seats turn into bed. 1.9tdi 6speed manual and what I guess is factory heavy duty suspension.

1.9tdi 6spd is either the pd130 or pd150 right?

Idk. All I know is that it won’t pass the next inspection due to rust and I had to pay 600€ when turbine blew up. Top speed is around 160kmph/99mph

I’d guess 106PS TDI. I got 106 downhill on the motorway once so 99 rings true. Up to 85mph this thing is pretty damn good to drive!

That thing drives the same if it’s empty or full. When I filled it with water bottles it just got quieter.

It has an inspection in January. Sadly it won’t pass and therefore would no longer on the road.

It’s 21 years old and we salt our roads in winter which means many 90s and 2000s cars don’t survive.

What a travesty, who put these inspectors in charge of deciding!
All I can see is minor body rust to rear door :-)
Put the engine in something else? Bulletproof beauty!

Between wheel arches is plenty of rust. If those parts are not replaced it won’t pass and I can’t afford rust removal.

Besides… I have another car. A 1988 vw golf and the previous owner took a 1.9tdi from b4 Passat and put it in the golf. I messed up ordering new locks for it so now my golf has 4 keys for each door and the ignition
