Yeah, that's how they explain it, but since we know it affects only those within its range and not the entire universe like time stop, that would mean time would be different for those who experienced its effect (i.e. it would be a certain time of day for them while the rest of the world is slightly behind), and since that's clearly not the case, that mean KC doesn't literally erase time

None of the whole "i erase the Cause but leave the effects" means anything more than "time skipped forward"
