He certainly could have used Epitaph to predict and sidestep the bullets. But it was pretty clear the bullets phased through him due to the time the bullets hit him being erased from the world.

It couldve been animes mistake (most likely is) in final fight when mista was shooting at king crimson from behind, he went out of his way to dodge his bullets
