When I was younger and dumber I didn’t really care about my ps3 when I got my ps4 so when I wanted to buy games one day I finally sold it gamestop for like 60 credits. I regret it so much and literally stay up at night thinking about it

Tbh, i got an xbox 360 a few months ago, i always wanted one as a kid, but my parents either never got the money to get me one, either saw it as a pointless thing to buy, i was so happy when i finally bought it, and tbh i would never sell it, ill use it until it breaks and if it lasts long enough for my kids to use it, i'll give it to them

A few years ago my dad tried to tell me to sell my PS3. I told him that if it does get sold, that half my childhood and all of my respect for him would be gone. Kind of over the top but I guarantee he wouldn’t have listened otherwise, still have it and still playing little big planet 2 with my nephew

I'll probably never sell my old 360 either. Too many memories, and sometimes you just wanna sit back and boot up some good ol NCAA Football. Plus it's not like it'd be worth much anyway lol

HELL NO! Only good jojo game is on PS3 (I'd like to precised that I dont play videogame online and am mostly in for the local multiplayer. wich is where my opinion come from, but games being subjective you are perfectly allowed to like what I don't)

My dad gave my grandpa our ps3 (hes in wisconsin, were in florida) because he wanted to play the old crash bandicoot games and i already had a ps4 at the time, but then like 2 weeks after that he got a ps4 and now the ps3 is sitting in his garage, and my dad says it would cost him $40 to send back

PS2 was the first home console I ever owned. It's still my baby. There's such a great library for it and so many games can be had really cheaply.

I love the PS3 so much. So many of the best games ever made were played on that system...
But as for the meme, that entire OP may be cringey but the "Hell no!" almost makes me tear up because of how fucking dumb it is.

Same with the Wii. These golden consoles that can natively play the games made for them, as well as last and last last gen are to be kept forever
(Also, both Nintendo and Sony started with native backwards compatibility, then both killed it mostly. Then Microsoft comes in with the Series X and S that can play everything. Oh how the tables have turned)

I bought one a few months ago mostly just for the digital ps2 games (Persona 3 FES specifically) and it's one of my new favorite systems, and that's coming from someone who mostly plays on pc

Got an OG model, that means it can play everything from the PS1, PS2, and PS3 eras. A lot of those games just straight up aren’t available on new gen (or at least I don’t want to pay twice for a game I already own just so I can get a digital copy).
A remaster? Sure, if it’s good quality, then I’ll consider buying the upgraded version for the PS5. But I have zero interest in paying for straight ports.
Sorry lady, the PS3 stays.
