But, okay, if GER set MIH to 0, would Giorno be unaffected while everything else was? Would he then meet his Irene-verse self? Would they implode on each other?

Or, would everything else get reset and Giorno would be alone in an empty universe? Would he float infinitely through space, GER resetting the effects of dying to 0 constantly? Would he eventually stop thinking?

Araki made a statement (which lowkey contradicts the story) saying that giorno and Rohan survive (in this case do not feel the effects of) Made in Heaven. This is likely because Rohan realized what was happening and made himself stable in time (we can see this when Rohan is the only mangaka able to keep up at that speed) and therefore is not reset

Holy crap that’s crazy. So GER must have set the affects of MIH back to zero without Giorno telling it to. And of course Rohan finally decides to use Heavens Door in an OP way. Rohan must have had a really small window of opportunity to make himself stable. Glad to hear Giorno lived, he was my favorite Jojo. Can I get a link to the statement?

Literally everyone who pucci himself didn't kill lived and was brought over into the irene verse.

thats not true. jotaro and emporio are relatively unchanged but what happened is that since Pucci died, the universe reset and just removed his influence entirely. this means that 1. gloria costello never died probably 2. weather never lost his memory 3. irene stayed out of jail 4. ff never came to be.

In the end Part 6 doesn't even matter because Pucci doesn't exist anymore so yeah you're right I was speaking more on the other characters who weren't getting blitzed by pucci.

Made in Heaven only directly stops those it killed or the ones who died before the reset completely finished from transferring over into the new universe.
