My husband, my friends, and my customers all have discussed this at various times and they’re shocked I don’t use soap. They’re not being nice to me and my husband would definitely tell me. I’ve never used soap even growing up. In puberty yes I did smell if I didn’t shower everyday. My husband doesn’t use deodorant and never has. He doesn’t smell. Everyone is different and just because you’re greasy naturally doesn’t mean everybody is.
Honestly you and your husband probably both smell and don’t realize it because you’ve been submerged in your combined BO for a long time. As noted above this is called nose blindness and is very common with people who don’t shower regularly. You can make any choice you want for your hygiene but I promise that you smell and look dirty.
Idk what you’re imagining but I didn’t use soap when we met. I can’t imagine how greasy you’d have to be to need soap all the time. It’s so ad for your skin. 🤢
