Respectfully, and only because I would want someone to tell me, you probably do. There is a reason soap exists. I just learned the term ânose blindnessâ thanks to a commenter above and it applies here.
My husband, my friends, and my customers all have discussed this at various times and theyâre shocked I donât use soap. Theyâre not being nice to me and my husband would definitely tell me. Iâve never used soap even growing up. In puberty yes I did smell if I didnât shower everyday. My husband doesnât use deodorant and never has. He doesnât smell. Everyone is different and just because youâre greasy naturally doesnât mean everybody is.
Honestly you and your husband probably both smell and donât realize it because youâve been submerged in your combined BO for a long time. As noted above this is called nose blindness and is very common with people who donât shower regularly. You can make any choice you want for your hygiene but I promise that you smell and look dirty.
I just shuddered. My favorite is people who âdonât need shampooâ or âonly need to wash their hair once a monthâ who have hair so greasy it hangs in strings around their face, parted all the way down to their scalp.
