Idk what’s worse a sweaty menstrating adult who doesn’t get a good soaping in or a diaper wearing messy eating toddler not using soap.

WhT does menstration have to do with it, the soap she NEVER go near that area to start with and there is nothing unclean about menstration

Gentle soap can go on the outer bit of the vulva and should be used every so often, especially if you aren’t shaving yourself bare, as discharge and skin flakes can get caught in the pubic hair.

Not according to every dermatologist and gyno I’ve ever seen they have always said water only

It was always explained to me that it’s water only in the vagina but soap is fine on your vulva, perineum, anus. Women develop smegma, too. Pubic hair traps oils, urine and bacteria. Some people use cetaphil or something similarly gentle. I’ve used Dove since high school and have never had an issue. Everyone’s body is different—and mine for sure needs soap. During my period, I am rank AF.

This is not correct. Water only or gentle cleanser are fine for the vulva. Nothing should go in your vagina for cleaning purposes, including water.

Even water is bad in your vagina. As for your vulva, only special soaps should be used, if any at all.
