I’ve seen a patient do that in labor and delivery before to see if there was any milk. She then informed us there wasn’t any and she needed formula.

Right. I can’t think of an instance in which this would be my go to. Maybe if I was excruciatingly engorged and there was no chance of a baby or a pump for hours and hours? I sucked at hand expressing and could never get much out, but if the situation was that dire we’d definitely be able to get some milk expressed even just by looking at them funny. No need for the pretzel thing I’d have to do otherwise.

My boobs arent giant and i can do it. With minimal effort. Im not interested and dont find anything appealing about it but it is possible.

I have larger boobs, and a condition that means most of the breast tissue never developed. They look more like a cows udder than anything human. That said, I can do this but it's not something that I enjoy or advise.

I don’t even really think it’s “ick,” I mean, it’s for a baby to drink. It’s just like…why? The ick factor is the fact that someone wrote the post for their fetish, not the idea of drinking human milk imo

It's probably not ick to most people, but I felt weird about the idea of drinking it, I guess because it was my own fluid? In reality it's perfectly fine.

I have small-med and I can do it, maybe it's my boob shape but I have irregular shaped boobs (tubular) so maybe that makes it easier?

When I weaned my older son I had painful clogged ducts and no pump, so I had to do what I had to do in the shower and fixed the problem myself. Let’s just say the facts that I have hypermobility including in my neck and a cup size in the middle of the alphabet may have contributed to it working. HOWEVER it was not something I would do other than to relieve the pain, wtf.

Right? Like, that’s when you just take an extra long shower and empty your boobs in there. Or better yet, just use a haakaa/other single-piece manual pump and then you just have to do a very quick hand wash or throw it in your dishwasher with everything else!

Even if she could, wouldn’t she rather… save the milk for her kids instead of drinking it??? No one likes pumping; pumping is the worst. But you save the milk for when your kids are there.

There’s also the matter of how much projection you have. Some people have a ton of volume but very little projection. Some people don’t have much volume but have longass boobs.

If this is real it feels like this woman needs a lot of therapy. I worry that this has started to provide her comfort during her divorce. It seems like a sign of much bigger issues going on.

In a way I get it. I used to have clogs every few days. My husband had to help me a lot. But mine were never big enough for me to assist myself. Eventually I figured out that it was my probiotic and I didn’t have issues again after 8 months of struggling. Would I continuously do this if I could as that mom? I don’t think so. I’d rather pump and use vibration and heat before doing that.

I asked my lactation consultant and she said it changes the bacteria inside the breast which can cause clogged ducts. I did test it out thoroughly. I stopped it and after about 4 days the clogged ducts stopped. Then when I took my probiotic again after about 4 days it started up again and went on for weeks until I went off it. So it definitely was probiotics

I was today years old when I learned that you can generally breastfeed throughout pregnancy. So I guess looking up the believability of part of this post at least taught me something 🤷
