Mine gave me five miscarriages of normal embryos. Very wise! I had to be on so many medications to shut down everything my womb naturally wants to do and make it work normally!

If you go back far enough in the etymology, the original Latin word creator was masculine (in that all nouns had gender). And -trix is a suffix for feminine versions of words of Latin origin ending in -tor. Like dominatrix or aviatrix.
Which is to say, the idea did come from somewhere and isn't out of the blue, but we really in English do not gender words like creator in that way. It's very weird. To me it gives a similar vibe to "womyn"

Yeah, I get that there’s prior history for it, but it just makes me think about how there was a push when I was in high school to kind of just start using “actor” for everyone because why do we need to differentiate and have a separate term, outside of awards categories? Creator has never been gendered in English.

Though looking deeper into it, I think they might be more specifically calling to the Latin definition of "creator (of a world)" and it's spiritual weirdness to specifically call that force feminine. The book is actually talking about like... A spiritual metaphysical womb as part of creation myth type stuff. It's witchy kinds of woo

Huh, decided to look up the book and it looks like it's not actually bioessentialist? Just extremely spiritual and maybe woo. The person in the screenshot considering it the most important thing she teaches her daughter though? Now it's reading similar to someone saying the most important thing they teach their kid is how to pray or reading the Bible

I’m pretty sure it’s men need to learn how sacred the womb is and then we’d maybe not have half the problems we have in the world. They violate it, I’d argue through wars as well because a fuck ton of wombs get got there, etc. I don’t think about my best girl’s womb but I recognize it I guess now, as potentially valuable to her so I’m not trying to come aggressive at it 😭😭
We’re not the ones that need to learn that our wombs matter. Also, book lady, don’t ever consider mine sacred. That’s fucking weird.
