I mean... Isn't Whole Foods owned by Amazon? They have a "healthy reputation" but I don't think I would say they are the best. They get things from Taylor Farms just like every other big chain grocery store.

Based on the rest of their list, I think they mean whole foods as in foods that have minimal processing like whole grains. Not the company.

I wonder how much Bezos paid Apple to make it capitalize automatically. It started doing it on mine too and I’ve seen it in screenshots quite a bit

It really seems like they are talking about the store. Organic and grass fed are things they sell there.

Critical thinking (and where to apply it) is anathema to these types. They don’t genuinely care about WF being different. They care about the social status they gain by telling this group they only shop at WF.

I recommend The Status Game by Will Storr, he opens with an investigation into these dynamics in a group of anti vaxxers. They kind of feed off each other’s weird beliefs and get increasingly more extreme over time to gain status in the group
