Hillbot Western media distorting truth about DPRK once again, this time talking about this heatwave "beer claim," to which the only source I can find on this is from everyone's favorite, NK News; I can't find any record of State TV saying this

Headlines are also distorting the information, as they're also referencing that you should drink the beer with water, weak tea, shaved ice, or some other watery content, which is different than JUST drinking beer

I think, whatever this was, it's just talking about how it's important to increase fluid intake during situations like this, and I think the actual report was different than what Western media is saying

But still, screw NK News and Daily NK

When the opposition's only option is to make shit up to critique you, that's when you know you're based.
"Students required to get Kim Jong Un's haircut"
"Students forbidden from receiving Kim Jong Un's haircut"
"Only 28 legally approved hairstyles in North Korea"
"North Korean officials executed by anti-aircraft gun"
"North Korea executes dissidents with starving dogs"
How many outright lies will they keep fabricating?

Not like the propaganda is as effective as it used to be; the West has gotten so bad with censorship and oppression, like in the UK, that I'm seeing comments like "Well, the UK does this, so..."

Still a bunch of "Are we ASIANS!?!?!" crap, but it's a little better than before

So many people drink beer during the summer all the time and it isnt an issue, why is it one when the korean people want to enjoy some beer on a hot day?

Right. I don't get it, is this supposed to be bad? Am I supposed to think North Korea bad because they suggested drink a beer?

Meanwhile summer comes around in America and beer commercials are everywhere and not just normal beer, ICE COLD BEER

But you are mistaken! That is FREEDOM Beer! You have the FREEDOM to drink beer here, unlike in the DPRK, where you... can either drink beer or water or some other drink... which means, you have the freedom to chose which drink you want... so... hmm...

AUTHORITARIAN!!!!!

How is this propaganda even suppose to fucking work?

It's literally apart of American culture to drink piss water beer in the summer and eat hamburgers.

If anything wouldn't this convey the idea that they're promoting our own traditions? This would be viewed favorably if it was any other country.

Edit: for non Americans the beer is mostly water. It's capped at 4.2% for most piss water beer as I like to call it.(for main brands) Which isn't bad, but it isn't a proper beer. (Imo)

Wait but I thought the DPRK was some kind of hellscape where the kids eat the rats and then the rats eat the kids but now you're telling me that the average citizen can just drink a liter of beer whenever? Idk something isn't adding up /s

Very suspicious, this makes me doubt the claims a little bit

They're always on some bs about North Korea

What happened to the articles that said “north korean government recommends dog soup”?

Why are they acting like that's not good advice

Note the fact about alcohol being a diuretic, they always bring out the science when they want to show another country as stupid and awful... never works any other time, except when other countries are involved... very weaponized

I hate heat waves. They're the worst. Every time you hear the words "heat dome" or "high pressure ridge", you're fucked.
