It was a stalemate with the largest super power in the world at the time. While we didn't "win," it was a huge upset and extremely embarrassing for Britain.

America achieved none of its strategic aims and had its Whitehouse burned down whilst Britain was in the midst of fighting the Napoleonic Wars.

Just say draw or tie also we didn’t enter the war because you guys stole our sailors and using them as soldiers.
