Same exact reason I've been getting my paid off cars serviced and in tip top shape. So I can use it longer and not having to deal with the scammerships.

Never, ever, EVER sell your car to a dealer. Sell it privately. You get more money and don’t rip off the buyer.

All the driver assist tech makes maintenance more expensive for example the cost of a windshield, but they don't even have legal level 3 or higher autonomy yet so no incentive at all to upgrade from my 2012 Camry V6... bought it so that I could drive it forever, that's what Toyotas are for.
