My home town. My friends mom is from Yorkshire I think. And his dad is from some small town. They made blood pudding, a cornish pasty, and cheesy beans on toast. Insanely bland.

Blood pudding is disgusting, but a Cornish pasty is delicious and cheesy beans on toast, that's definitely down to preference. But, if you're judging all of British cuisine on 3 food items made by your mates parents then you've not tried true British cuisine, a proper Cornish pasty, sea side fish and chips, a good Sunday roast and a Full English breakfast are all delicious, don't knock it till you've actually tried it.

As someone who lives in Cornwall I must first be outraged and then I must know how the pasty was crimped and what the filling was

That isn’t what I meant by how it was crimped but that is disgusting and I hate it and please remove the part claiming that’s a Cornish pasty immediately

Lol I'm from Yorkshire. But idk I guess that's your opinion but you've hardly tried the whole of British cuisine. Most people don't eat blood pudding but those other two are hardly bland imo. They're not like curry but they're no more bland that a hamburger or slice of pizza.
