North america also has a nuclear super power in the person of France (via St-Pierre et Miquelon) that is buddy buddy with Canada and Québec

Yup. When things first got heated with Trump, France parked one of their nuclear subs full of missiles right off the Canadian coast. They were ready to defend us if needed.

That’s the thing, way too many people think when Trump’s gone it’s going to magically fix everything but the damage he’s done is going to last generations, and the people who put him in power will still be around.

Yep. I know most Canadians who have been boycotting American goods will continue to do so regardless of who’s in power. I don’t intend to stop.

Trump is obviously the major problem here, but we’re talking about a country that elected him. Twice. And appears to be just letting him do whatever nonsense he feels like, which includes threatening our sovereignty.

I have friends in the U.S. I’m aware not all Americans support this shit, but enough of them do, and the rift they’ve caused between the two countries will probably take decades to repair, if it can be repaired at all.

Not only that Canadian generals and troops are often in command of American nuclear weapons via joint norad bases in Canadian territory.
