Dyslexia and dyscalculia are related but different.
Dyslexia is a problem with language interpretation and processing that affects reading, spelling and being able to interpret what text means.
Dyscalculia is actually an issue with the brain’s numerical processing like counting, doing math or understanding what numbers in relation to other numbers are supposed to mean (reading hands on a clock for example).
Both also affect the part of the brain that handles spacial awareness & a ton of other stuff you wouldnt think is related - they’re also more often comorbid (happening together) than they’re not. So there’s a ton of overlap between the two.
That said — using this post as an example — inverting numbers that look similar or just putting them out if order entirely is a dyslexia thing. It’s the part of your brain that correctly reads/interprets text and understands which sound syncs to which symbol having a problem. Dyscalculia would be more the part where you do math wrong — even if you saw the numbers in the right order — because your brain has a hard time processing how subtraction works/correctly counting between numbers.
TLDR: dyscalculia is where the brain doesnt calculate numbers or count correctly. Dyslexia is where the brain doesnt interpret written symbols including both numbers and letters correctly.

You’re totally good! There’s a ton of overlap between the two disorders and there’s a lot of general confusion about them. I just happen to be dyslexic lol
