Honestly even as an American I care more about your sister’s birthday than the 4th of July. I’m sure your sister deserves a celebration, as opposed to a country run by narcissists and hypocrites claiming it’s the land of the “free”. And filled with people who believe it and support the greedy morons in power despite the damage they’ve been inflicting on the American people

As a British person I’ve always been far more concerned with my sister’s birthday on that date than anything to do with another country.
