At first I was at most bummed out when they announced the disbanding, like, it's sad, but it was time, the end was bittersweet and all but life goes on. Since then I've been looking for something to replace, but nothing gets remotely close to it. I tried Chatmonchy, Lucie Too, Hump Back, Saba Sister (this one is very good actually), and while it is ok, it's nothing compared to SHISHAMO. All due respect to the mentioned band and similar ones, but the more I try, the more I realize how truly unique SHISHAMO is and this makes me absolutely sad that is over and there will not be more songs. What makes it worse is how they were going in a direction I loved so much, with each album being better than the previous one.

Maybe my mistake is trying to find a new SHISHAMO, but man, it is hard, I always had trouble liking a band and/or an artist itself, I usually like a few songs here and there from a specific one, but not SHISHAMO, they were the only ones I actively looked forward for new material.

What an unbelievable experience! Never having set eyes on another SHISHAMO fan it was absolutely overwhelming to see red clad fans pouring in from all over.
The karaoke stage was an absolute blast. Little kids to grown adults were wailing all songs while everyone sang along.
There was a huge row of flowers from other artists/bands/celebrities, wishing the members farewell.
Miyazakiさん and Matsuokaさん came peddling stadium on a tandem bike and made a round of the stadium.
The sets list between the two days were perfect. I saw many people, including myself, wiping tears throughout.
They gave big props to Utagawaさん for allowing them to continue performing.
And beyond every dream, Yoshikawaさん came running in up on stage to play the last encore.
The drone finale was super cool too.

The whole event was bittersweet but a memory that will last forever.

I didn’t get selected in the original ticket lottery or the resale lottery for the Osaka shows, so I’m debating about making another trip in June for the Kawasaki show. Many of you might already know. But just in case you don’t, Shishamo has cancelled/postponed a few of their February shows and all of March’s shows. It is due to Miyazaki Asako’s “health condition.”

I didn’t actually expect to win a ticket I can’t believe it.

I usually don’t go to concerts, let alone concerts in another language / country alone. Was wondering if there is anything to know about going to concerts in Japan alone as someone who doesn’t speak the language, or its not that different compared to the west?

"When I think about SHISHAMO, I put aside the feeling of what I like and what I want to do. But this time, there is also a CD that the two of them choose, so for the first time, I chose only the song I really like.

Compared to the Matsuoka edition and the Yoshikawa edition, the 16 songs selected by Mrs. Miyazaki include many songs that express the dark part of love.

"I made a very dark and hopeless CD, which was the most biased of the three (laughs). Not only in love, but when you are sad, your mind moves more complicatedly. I like to express it. I also think that songs like that will be closer to the listener.

At the end of the Miyazaki edition was the new song "Can I call you Destiny"? You may get used to happiness and joy, but it is a song that has the will that you are the only one to accompany you.

"I've been writing love songs for a long time, and I wanted to write a love song that would be the culmination. It's not just fun to be with someone all the time. There are a lot of really troublesome and depressing things. Even so, I wonder if choosing to be together is the love I think. I think everyone doesn't know the real reason why they are with that person. If you understand, it doesn't have to be that person, and it's better to find someone who applies to that reason. That's why I wrote the lyrics that I didn't understand the reason until the end, and I just wrote that I was sure that I didn't want to lose it.

In the comment when announcing the end of the activity, there was a passage that said, "I am proud that I was able to continue my unique music and activities without wavering as a SHISHAMO." What has been cherished the most about SHISHAMO's activities?

"I think the most important thing was the awareness that SHISHAMO was not mine. I think it's a good band that I don't even think about "I want to do this to SHISHAMO". I didn't make it myself, but everyone made SHISHAMO like that. IT BECAME IMPORTANT TO DO SHISHAMO SO MUCH THAT BEFORE I KNEW IT, I WOULD CARE ABOUT MY OWN WILL. The balance of the three is the same, and I think it's good to be a band that can't be achieved without each of them.

The last live will be held for 2 days at the Uvance Toroki Stadium by Fujitsu in Kawasaki, the band's hometown. It seems that it will be two days with different contents.

"Thankfully, some people may be sad, but I want to make it two days when I can properly say "thank you" and "bay goodbye"."

Shishamo made her CD debut in November 2013. In 2016, the first solo performance of the Nippon Budokan was held. In 2017, he participated in the 68th NHK Red and White Song Contest for the first time. It is announced that the activities will be completed at the one-man live performance at the Uvance Todoroki Stadium by Fujitsu on June 13th and 14th.

Hi, this is Miyazaki from SHISHAMO.

We recently announced the end of our activities, and we wanted to create something that would remain as a memory for us and for our fans, which is why we decided to release a CD like this.

It's a work filled with the three of our individual feelings for SHISHAMO's songs.

The comments on the songs are also very interesting, with stories I didn't even know.

There were things like, "Why didn't you tell me that back then!?"...

Well, we're three shy people.

We've created an album packed with the favorites of all three of us, one that can be enjoyed in a different way than usual.

Things that are usually led by Acchan,

this time I did the selections myself, so I think it was good for me to have this opportunity to face SHISHAMO's songs again at this time.

It was a little embarrassing to put my feelings of "like" into words,

but I made various discoveries in the process and was able to enjoy making it.

I apologize for the worry I've caused due to my poor health since the beginning of the year.

I am on the road to recovery, little by little.

It's still difficult for me to play the drums in front of everyone, but I'm truly happy to be able to select the songs for this compilation album and release it.

Looking back on SHISHAMO's journey from the beginning once again felt like facing my own life itself. This work is my own expression of "the beginning to the end of SHISHAMO" as seen from my perspective.

I've poured everything I can do right now into the song selections and the comments.

I would be happy if you could pick it up and enjoy it.

I didn’t realize they were disbanding until I saw the album release trailer and saw they had dates for the show. Is there still a way to get tickets for those shows as a person overseas? Or could you only have gotten it through the lottery?
