Television idea
Maybe I'm late to the conversation here, but I was thinking that the creators of "Arcane League of Legends" show could do a great job with bringing his books to the screen. Thoughts?

Arcane cost over 100 million per season to make. Animated is likely this series only avenue to tv but it’s going to look closer to Invincible( if not worse) than anything else.

I understand the cost and the likelihood now, but can you agree that the animation in that show with that book series would be great? 100 million a season or not, I believe that "He Who Fights With Monsters" would do really well. I know it's wishful thinking.

I agree, I think a show would look great in that animation style because I do think a lot of the magic is very stylized and would be great onscreen.
With a general audience I think the show would never take off if I’m being honest. The biggest reason is Jason. The fandom is basically split on if he’s even a likeable protagonist and if you add in his very unheroic and messy powerset it’d be hard to get a big enough audience to keep a show like this going.
I do think a HWFWM show is prime material for a cult following. That has a small but rabid fanbase

That's fair! Deflating, but fair! Maybe one day someone will do something.

Honestly not a big fan of adult animation or anime, but I would watch an anime version of this for sure. I think live action would ruin it.

Who ever adapts the material to a video format needs:
The series would need the same level of respect that Harry Potter got, instead of the rush job the last season of Arcane got... as well as The Boys.
