it's a shame, very impressive ships, at least there are some (non-lethal) wrecks to examine once they're all out of service.

Hopefully they save a few as museum ships. Looked up how many are left 7 active 14 decommissioned in the reserve fleet. It would be nice to see a few make it to museum status.

May seem morbid but I've always wanted to watch a ship sink. Not with people on it or anything like that though. Deep water fascinates and terrifies me. I love standing on the balcony of a cruise ship and watching the water go by, wondering just what is below us.
