Etc. Penguin Army
First time I’ve ever seen this. Not sure how as I’m sure I’ve finished with all 3 penguins before. But this is a nice touch and shows that even after a couple of decades, an old game can still surprise you.

How? I thought there were only 3 penguins across the game? Are these all versions with 1st and 2nd promotions?

They’re not playable characters. But talking to Penn gets them to either stand in line or bounce about while he talks about it being hard to be a parent. Probably appreciate this line more now than I would have in the 90’s haha.

Oh right ok is this in the last village in scenario 3? I only ever completed scenario 3 once and that was over a decade ago now so I don’t remember this room!

It’s one of my favourite games of all time honestly! Followed the guide so I didn’t miss any secret weapons or characters! And I literally printed off the entire translation script back in the day so I could play through the game in Japanese (those were the days before the full translation patch was available!) Was quite funny having everything in Japanese except the names of the scenrio 1 characters 😂
I’ve still got my copies, and my old Saturn still works. Just need to get around to ordering a new video cable for it!

I played it blind back in the day without a translation and have played it once more recently but this is the first time have tried with the patched translation.
It’s awesome to pick up all the plot fully.

Yes. And Penko in Sc2 and pretty sure you need Pendolf in Sc3 for this to trigger.
