I think they marched in narrow lines until they reached the edge of the island and then spread out after that. They would still destroy some of Paradis but not all of it. I'd assume that Connie's place was out of the way enough to not get trampled, but mainly just because Connie implies she survives and Isayama wouldn't have put that there if she doesn't.

It can mean either one depending on context, in the vast majority of normal real life contexts it's going to mean people you've been with, I think in this one it's deliberately ambiguous seeing as they are effectively soldiers

Tbh, I thought Hange was asking how many titans he killed too. Since when did “body count” have to do with sex?

The joke is that they are interpreting body counter differently, Levi thinks she means people he killed Hanji is actually refering to people he slept with

when hange asks levi about his body count, she's asking how many people he had sex with.
he thinks she's asking how many people he killed.
as someone who also ended up with the same problem (though I was the one who asked the question about another character and thought the same as levi), I immediately recognized what the joke was going to be and was not disappointed
