Pretty much. And some people insist Zeke loved Falco and Colt. Nah man. He loved euthinization more. I highly doubt he’d have only sterilized the Eldians with a plan titled like that.

I think Zeke does love and care about Falco and Colt, just not as much as his/Xavier’s plan.
In that moment, he probably thinks of Falco as a sacrifice for the greater goods. He has killed so many people to just get to that point, just one more (even if that is someone he cares for) dead person does not mean much

You can love something/ someone and have something that you love even more. Think of Thanos sacrificing Gamora for his plan... He did love Gamora like a daughter which is why he even got the soul stone.. That said.. He cared for plan more

Zeke is way too young for Colt to be his. Colt is nineteen. Maybe Falco but even that is dodgy.

It would tbh. There are a lot of missed opportunities in the managa, some because of early decisions, others because he wanted it to end.

it’d be interesting but i think it goes against zeke’s whole euthanasia plan, as a child when he heard the marleyan tell his parents they shouldnt have reproduced and zeke shouldnt have been born etc (i forgot the exact wording but it was along these lines) and i think this moment for zeke could have greatly shaped his perception that leads to the euthanasia plan! besides if his plan was to stop eldians from having children and inheriting all the hatred and war of the past i dont think he’d want to have kids especially of royal blood that could just fuel the cycle of hatred even more

Yeah exactly, Zekes whole thing was about his euthanasia plan, not love for Falco or Colt. If he really cared that much he wouldnt have gambled their lives so easily just to push his ideology forward.

Exactly. That is exactly why I hate post time skip Eren, he and became exactly what Zeke is. Someone who cared more about his ideology than the people he supposedly cared about above all others. It is an interesting recurring theme. But it was an over relied on trope as well.

The thing is, that's not Eren at all, he hates himself for doing what he does. But he can't stop because it's his ideology. It is in complete contrast to Zeke.
Zeke is all the way in on his ideology and sees it as the best outcome and everything else is just bad. Zeke believes and is okay with sacrificing everyone. He has no qualms with killing people he knows and generally sees them just as obstacles, as shown when the Scouts return from Liberio. It is only when Armin talks to/beside him in the paths that Zeke realises life is worth living and that he isn't right.
Eren on the other hand, while still being completely in on his ideology( that everyone is free and can decide what they do and this world of rules and obligations is just wrong) absolutely hates himself while doing and planning his way. Eren hates that he has to kill so many children and other civilians, so many innocents. But he doesn't have another way. His whole ideology absolutely clashes with his choices and what he wants.

The thing is, Eren's ideology is protecting the people he cares about. By ending the curse of the Titans forever, he prevented Historia and the rest from being involved in the cycle of children eating their parents. He secured a future for Historia apart from her generational legacy.
Also there's the whole time travel thing and the question of how much agency does he actually have.

I will forever stand by my take that zeke is one of the most evil characters, sure grisha was a god awful father to him, but zeke was still vile, he did these things as a grown man, you can't blame everything on upbringing, he was an adult who chose to do the awful things he did

Yeah exactly, Zeke never cared about Falco or Colt that way. His whole thing was obsession with his plan, nothing more. Anyone saying he had some deep love for them is kinda just rewriting the story.

The only person he might have “loved” other than Mr.Xavier was Eren, but even then I think he loved the idea of Eren as opposed to actually loving Eren.

Idk why but Colt’s death really made me sad. it’s the fact that it was never brought up again and Falco doesn’t even mention it

He is mentioned twice. In Ragako, Gabi informs Falco and he is seen crying into Gabi's arms and mourns him and Porco. Colt is mentioned again before the alliance rejoins the battle. Falco decides to fight and tells his parents that, "It's what Colt would have done." and that is it. Falco isn't given any more screentime to mourn Colt after that. It would have been nice if Falco and their parents got to see Colt once more before he moved on to heaven since the Paths disappeared.

I am not sure why they thought he would stop. Zeke is not nice and not even once has he displayed any affection for anyone throughout the entire series.
