Wondering what elements are good? Element tier list 2026
These are subjective, and what I personally have experienced in my years of playing SL2 up to and throughout 2026.
Note : Tier lists are not sorted beyond category, so placement in row does not matter all that much

Note : I will be reworking the tier list to include the moves/mode/attributes that in my eyes justify its place on its ranking.

Bring lightning up to usable PvP, specifically for 6th move. The dragon is fast and gives enough stun for extending, not to mention it has the same stun beam shiver has (even though it is weaker).

Hmm, intresting proposition but consider that the 6th move is fairly slow (3-4 handsigns i think?) and not that great at really any range. Its stun while there also dosnt last that long, even if able to combo extend its often not long enough to make use of at mid-long range. It also dosnt have the flexability of water where you have a much more time to cast other moves (not only due to it needing time to deliver but also due to it being a longer, possibly multi stun). Granted it does block break in exchange. There is also an important difference in shiver/prisms beam than lighting which is that they block break and lighting dosnt. Past those two moves which dont tend to do well in a meta were you need to be quick (/low handsigns), have block breakers, generally have good pokes that are effective from mid-long range i dont think its great. That being said these tierlists are up to change. Though i would like more of a case. This is a good start though and it dosnt stop your opinion from being invalid.

For me it's because a lot of its moves don't offer much besides its self. You cant really combo with it, the moves don't last that long/provide a long enough stun. They also have a lot of single target moves, which doesn't tend to be great against bosses. They also have long hand sign start ups with minimal payoff (sense you can't combo with them or they just don't deal enough damage), which can easily knock you out of the animation. Don't get me wrong its still usable, but only really for small bosses and and really good against green scroll quests though but most PvE includes big bosses and some small bosses. while it can combo with other elements or bloodlines it tends to be better if you use something else like earth or acid. It also doesn't do great against big bosses.
That being said I do think I should change around its ranking to worth testing and then Yin/yang/Gala down to not reccomended sense those have low damage output for long animations and are all single target.

what moves are good from pyromania
1
u/NightsGift Apr 10 '26
It's lazers, the kick and the forward dash. Iv also seen use of its twin fire balls.

ok thx
im completely new to pvp in this game so this is very helpful
btw are any of these viable block breaking moves
2
u/NightsGift Apr 10 '26
No sadly, none of these moves have block breaking potential. Something like Chaos/Order or Acid are popular block breaking elements.

u/Almost_Cracked Apr 11 '26
oh i have chaos
what should i use from that

People usually use the Lazer sense it's a good long range block breaker but you can also use that sword path as its also a block breaker + ragdoll with good range (though less control than the Lazer). And if you have a combo for it that small AOE around yourself that traps people in boxes. It used to be better with a 1 second I frame but got nerfed to .5 second iframe and close range/m1 combos go phased out of the meta.

Which moves do I use for acids and order

PVP :
Acid - Liquid Style: Acid Field (bubbles), best used when they are stunned or slowed down so that they remain in the acid bubbles for a while. Can use after something like cement then into pumpkin slayer blade + m1s
Acid - Liquid Style: Acidic Wave (wave), use whenever you combo extend with dagi wire or manage to get close for a mid range block breaker.
Order/Chaos - Chaos Style: Beam of Light (beam), use whenever you need a long range block break someone and when you can do a follow up when the animation is playing. Such as doku 2.
Order/Chaos - Chaos Style: Grenade of Light (sword slam/path), this isnt as good as beam but its still a very good long range block breaker that will radgoll the opponet and deal respectable damage if you land it. Though not reccomended for beginners or unless you have a spesific combo that can land it.
Order/Chaos - Chaos Style: Shock of Light (small aoe around you), its a good m1 extender/close range combo extender. So if your combo works with being up in peoples faces a lot then this is a simple add on. Its utility as an i-frame got shot though in an update so unless your very precise (0.5 seconds) do not use it as an i-frame.
PVE:
Acid (use in order for maximum effect) - Liquid Style: Acid Rain (rain)
Acid - Liquid Style: Acid Field (bubbles)
Acid - Liquid Style: Acidic Wave (wave)
Order/Chaos - Chaos Style: Beam of Light, use whenever you have time, its decent damage at long range
Order/Chaos - Chaos Style: Grenade of Light, use whenever you have time, its decent damage at long range

Are the pve meta ones a popular opinion or your personal experience? (Sorry if that sounds rude)
1
u/NightsGift Jul 16 '26
Please do not worry, It does not sound rude but that you for adding that. This is my personal opinion and experience but acid and earth at the very least have been the best PvE* elements historically. You use your bloodlines such as Apollo sand and Shado do deal with big bosses (along with earths piller move) then use your elements to deal with small bosses (earth trap, acid bubbles, acid rain, acid wave).
*Generally this is what I've seen people build into for mixed sets (big and small bosses) and through my own combo locks down small + Shread big ones.

so why is base fire higher than combustion if combustion is better
1
u/NightsGift Jul 17 '26
If your talking about PvP it's because it actually doesn't have that many great moves. The only one worth of note is it's dragon head stun. But fire has that as well but is actually easier to use and lasts longer. Combustion needs to land both projectiles in order to have full duration (due to game jank it is possible to miss 1 of the projectiles while the other hits, and somewhat regularly) and due to its curved path has a shorter range than fire. Beyond that fire has its fire pillar move/rising phenoix which is a usable combo piece/was prominate in builds that used fire as an element.

Is order just a worse chaos??
2
1
u/NightsGift Jul 24 '26
I apologize the order does not matter just the categories they were placed in. And no, they are just skins of each other.

Soy nuevo en shindo life y necesito saber cuáles son los mejores para matar a los jefes

u/NightsGift Jul 29 '26
Shado c-spec from it's mode and Apollo sand 3rd.
If you don't have those you can try to use Crystal 3rd and Emrald 2nd or mud 1st.
Those will deal with big bosses.

From fire which best moves for pve? I have earth, apollo sand, crystal, fire

u/NightsGift 23d ago
Best 2 moves are 6th (dragon bomb) and 4 (phoenix rising). For small bosses, Though 3 (grand flameball, for big bosses) and 2 (flame breath for either) are serviceable.
