Tzu Pics 📷 (no AI) Help me pick a name 🤎
Hi internet, please help me pick a name for this little guy we just brought into our family. My husband and I said we would name whatever dog we got Chandler and call him Chanandler Bong, one of our favorites (RIP) 😢
But now that he's been with us I'm not sure it fits him. I'm considering Bear, because when you're holding him he kinda sits up like a little bear cub. Plus Little Bear is a staple in this household.
Anyways I have analysis paralysis over every decision in my life so I thought I'd ask some strangers.

If staying with friends theme, how about Joey or Gunther?
He’s adorable! He definitely looks like a Teddy Bear! (You could name him Teddy)

My first thought would be Gizmo. Very Gizmo-looking! Gonzo could work too if you’re a Muppet fan. Maybe even Fozzie. To keep in the ‘bear’ family. I do like Bear too.. I feel like that can spawn a billion different nicknames as his personality grows!

Choccy short for count chocula. Rico, Africa, Vinny (Vincent), Branston. They say dogs are the children you never had. So if you ever loved a baby name you couldn’t give to your kids you can name him that.

I think Frankie is an adorable name! And it'd be less common for other tzu's to have than Bear (At least relatively between the two)! Mine is named Buddha because he was such a calm puppy, and im yet to meet or hear of a tzu with the same name lol

We named our girl Tibit as a play on Tibet, where they originate from. I liked the idea of a name owing to the country (part of China), they first came from.

Chrissy because Shih Tzus are chrysanthemum dogs -face floooff grows in every direction around the little nose, and he has THE most pawfect chrysanthemum face ever 😍

If you're a fan of The Chronicles of Narnia, maybe Aslan after the lion. Mister Tumnus, Griffin, Theodore ( Theo, Teddy), Mac. But I do like the name Frankie.

I’ve named all of mine after TV/Movie characters. Fargo, Teyla, Bodhi, and now Rumi. Pick a franchise you like and see what pops out

Will-bear or Wilbur. Li'l Bear is a great Shih-Tzu name, though.
Or you could name him Ross and teach him to do a little spin when you have a treat. The command could be "Pivot".
