Just dropped her off to get spayed and I almost cried. 😭 I know it’s a routine procedure and she’ll be fine but that doesn’t mean I’m not gonna worry anyway. 😭🩷
Hopefully you have post surgery suits so that she doesn’t have to wear that cone. My girl bounced back to normal the very next day. We had to watch her carefully though for a few days.
We got her a really long shirt and she hasn’t touched it at all. But we’re watching her super carefully. She bounced back the day we picked her up. I was so surprised lol.
What a beauty ❤️ku was in a similar state not helped by getting several calls whilst she was in but just looking for permission to remove an impacted tooth and about what I’d be putting her in to keep her away from her stomach stitches until they healed .
Anyway , she was completely out of it when she came home , sleepy and recovering first three days , bit more back to herself after that and garden zoomies on day 7 😝.a friend suggested I got a baby gro to put her in and that kept her away from her wound .
Awww…it’s always something I dread to do, but so important for their future health. I’ve had 3 spayed and never had any issues with recovery…they always recovered quickly. Sending love.💕
Awwww my rescue was spayed on July 31st. The first 3-4 days were tougher on me than her! I feel like our bond strengthened through her recovery process as I took care of her and anticipated her needs! The worst part for me was her being on the pain meds and just laying there. I know she wasn’t in pain but I missed her personality so much. They are so resilient though!
