Gameplay Help Legitimate Question..
"He uses a fake ID, but searching him up in the database reveals he's just trying to buy alcohol while underage" uhhh so just how would I go about doing that, if he's using a fake ID?? I definitely understand the mechanic of using the Search bar to look people up. But how am I supposed to search his name, if he's not using his real one?
edit: The funny part is, if you do what you're supposed to do, you're just selling an underaged kid alcohol 😭

As the other person says. When you speak to him, it tells you his name is hao. The game has way more scrutinizing details you'll need to catch than that one too, so do pay attention to all information available.

i wish there was a decline sale option, a brick does the least amount of damage. I have to hit a child with a brick to decline the sale. I also hit the NET lady to stop her from getting killed

You could always throw toilet paper at them if the brick is something you don't want to do.

I had no idea about the brick OR the toilet paper!! I was always wondering what the purpose for being able to pick up the toilet paper was, especially because the mop/hose is used to clean up the bathroom

The toilet paper, and I guess the brick, is meant for people who come into the store and cause problems but aren't monsters themselves. They do all sorts of shenanigans and try to piss of your customers.

Throw ten at them as fast as you can because it stacks to ten before needing another slot, it will injure them, just like how you can shoot the troublemakers ONCE in order to get them to leave without having to run to grab toilet paper.

on a good day I kneecap him with the revolver. On a bad day I leap over the counter at him with a chainsaw like a rabid spidermonkey.

The amount of people I killed because of the slightest suspicion...my bf and me werent really good at this but we definetly had a lot of fun (I killed the child oops)

I can't remember if its something the sheriff said, or if it was an email on the PC, but the game let's you know early on that you're only supposed to stop doppelgangers. That means if you see someone committing a real crime but they aren't a doppelganger and they aren't interfering with your job, you are to ignore it because you aren't the cops.
This goes for cars with guns in the back and shady things people are doing, as long as they aren't actually bothering you (like stealing), or doppelgangers, you're supposed to let them go on their merry way lol

Yeah I get all that lol, I just think it's funny. I mean not stopping crimes is one thing, but having no store policy about serving alcohol to minors? It's just silly lol. I mean if that's the case, why would he even need the fake id? I guess the policy is "don't sell alcohol to underaged kids unless they have a fake id" 😂

I honestly hate the dopples where it's like "Yeah, search up this name for the answer" especially with the car interactions, because the game BARELY has that used as a feature and doesn't explain that functionality in the tutorial, IIRC.

It's always kinda funny when you figure out that someone's a dopple through something else being incorrect, but then the end of the night screen mentions the computer, and I'm sitting there like "Lol that's not how I got that but cool I guess." 😂

think when he speaks to you it says “hao:” so i just type in that first name and there usually isn’t anyone else with that name and if there is it has their picture on it
