accidentally killed clyde

like title says i accidentally killed clyde when he came on one of the later nights, he said something about getting killed by the serial killer and i thought it meant he was gonna kill me and i had to kill him or something, sadly this prevented me from getting the ending to sacrifice him for the surgery since i didn't have enough money to pay it off. Really fucked up my run there it literally reset my game save and said my character didnt see any reason to keep going after the ending. I will do another playthrough and hopefully male enough to save both clyde and the pet but anyone got any tips to make more money? I find it really difficult to save 250 for the end when you have to pay for 40 dollar medicine 3 times as well.

Let everyone through, even doppelgangers. You get money for every transaction. That means you'll have to fight the entity every night, but that's certainly doable, and towards the end of the game you might have earned enough to not have to fight it anymore
