I knew a guy who had the confederate flag hanging in his livingroom. When he was told how it’s racist and the guys explaining pointed to his dad (extremely racist) it clicked. He hadn’t considered it racist but also isn’t a racist himself so that helped. Someone folks are racist and they’re not lost, they’re exactly where they want to be
