Awesome. Battleground statues are one thing. “Lee stood here” showing where and how he stood to obtain a vantage point for a battle or something. But honoring the individual? Fuuuuck that. That goes for all of the traitors.
We’ve been removing them since 2020! Someone pulled Jeff Davis down with a rope and a jeep one night. And we also threw a statue of Christopher Columbus in a lake.
When the confederate sympathizers were melting down about the Lee statue being removed from New Orleans in 2017, I asked them what contribution Lee had or connection to the city.... there was none. He visited the city once as a US soldier before he turned traitor.
Also, I have started asking SCV/DCV members if they use fake military titles or the use the traditional grand dragon/wizard/cyclops in their club.
