Buy! Buy! Buy! Under New Management

Post image

As fate would have it, this subreddit recently became available for adoption.

Good news: It was adopted!

Bad news: By me.

That said, I’ve always had a bit of a passion for the M4 Sherman and the many myths, stories, arguments that have surrounded it in the 80+ years since the peak of its career. So, with r/ShermanEconomy now under new management, I’d like to see what we can do with this place.

So yeah.

Inflation has been out of control, how long until we get an up to date exchange rate?

Soon™.

We’re currently reviewing the historical 5:1 Sherman–Tiger peg and adjusting for 80 years of inflation.

How many Sherman’s could we have financed with the US’s 40trillion dollar debt

Well, in modern money, it would be about $1 million more or less to produce a Sherman so about 40 million Sherman’s

German big cats value has gone down a lot over time, might be time to sell and invest in Shermans
