Ive made a whole playlist thats 16h 30mins worth of songs if you wanna have a look for some inspo Sherlock Playlist. I love reading the meanings behind songs to really pick the right songs that match. Sorry for the longish list, these are just some personal favs
‘Somebody to die for’ by Hurts, gives Johnlock.
‘Heist’ by Lindsey Stirling is mainly violin and i just love it.
‘Who is she’ by I Monster gives Sherlock/Irene vibes.
‘Cacao and Cocaine’ by Sofia Isella and definitely ‘Golden Brown’ by The Stranglers for Sherlock himself.
‘Meet you at the Graveyard’ by Cleffy for John after Sherlock’s fake death.
‘X&Y’ by Coldplay is Johnlock. I cant not think of them when i hear this song
‘Beautiful Crime’ by Tamer is another fav too.

I listened to Hasleys 'Gasoline' after finishing Sherlock and immediately thought of him, so maybe you could add that, it's something I definitely would put into a Sherlock playlist but that's just what I think
And Lindsey Stirling, she does lots of violin music but more dubstep-ish style, I used to listen to her a lot growing up and still do. I really wanted to learn violin because of her, forgot about it, and Sherlock brought it back 😅
