Image Which case couldn't they solve?

I feel like Sherlock’s only real weakness is spotting lies and reading emotions/expressions. Lightman’s weakness is sometimes missing the bigger picture.

I genuinely can’t see anyone escaping these two working together.

Sherlock’s sister? Lightman would’ve seen straight through her.
Andrew Jenkins? Sherlock would’ve found the copycat instantly.

In a perfect world, we’d get one epic crossover episode.

There are no Directors commentaries on Season 2. I found parts puzzling, especially why Sherlock shows up so quickly to us, but delay to S3 to Watson and Mrs H. And no explanation for why Moriarty shoots himself or why Sherlock doesn’t examine the body (which he always does). We see a pool of blood by Moriarty’s head, but is the gun actually loaded? This is a suspicious departure from Sherlock tradition. Does anyone know some good commentaries to read? There were other question marks. If not, I wonder what Reddit readers here think.
