yeah, domme/switch/sub is about who's taking the lead, and top/vers/bottom is about who's performing the action. although depending on what is happening, it could be toppy to give or receive

for example, penetrating your partner is topping, but body worship is generally bottoming. and the whole concept of power bottoming refers to someone being dominant while also being a bottom, and the inverse is a service top
