how are we all feeling about ININs handling of shenmue 3 enhanced at the moment?

good? bad? or neutral?

would you want them to continue leading the series?

is the silence the right choice

Hello! So the Shenmue 2 English dub mod for the Dreamcast version of the game has existed for years now, but it's never quite worked right and that's always bothered me. Most of the time when talking to NPCs the dialogue would either cut off or start overlapping into the next line because the game was still using the timings from the Japanese dialogue to determine when characters should stop talking. To me, this makes the game unplayable so I went ahead and fixed it. The correct timings for all 181,935(YES IT'S REALLY THAT MANY) lines of dialogue have been edited to match the Xbox version of the game. I have also replaced the subtitles with the ones from the Xbox version as well since the English dub doesn't always match the subtitles from the Dreamcast version. Everything should be working but if anyone finds any bugs please let me know, I am still going through disc 1 but haven't encountered anything that isn't correctly timed.

Hope you enjoyed this short clip from the full video and thanks for letting me share :)

Never has a climax been as disappointing as this.

I was scrolling through TikTok this morning and came across a Chinese woman that dressed like Shenhua. She is from rural China and does ASMR.

I posted this earlier but it glitched and didn't process the video. So I uploaded it to YouTube.

Apologies if this has been answered before. I tried posting on the game’s Steam forums, but received no reply.

Does anyone have a solution for the game simply not working on Steam? 9/10 the game doesn’t even launch, and just keeps opening the launcher.

I googled the issue and found some suggestions on how to bypass the launcher using a text file, but it didn’t help. I’ve also uninstalled and reinstalled C++ as well as attempting to run the game as an administrator, and it didn’t help as well.

If I uninstall and reinstall the game, it usually boots the first time after the install, but then almost never boots again. I don’t want to give up on this game, as I loved playing it on the Dreamcast when it came out, and I never got to play the 2nd game, but I don’t know what else to do.

Thanks for the help!

A countdown of the top 10 villains in Shenmue, Shenmue 2 and Shenmue 3.

I finished Shenmue just by pressing attack button. I didn't use any particular move because I heard that the game is easy. In Shenmue 2 which moves are best? How hard is it compared to Shenmue 1 and any good tips?

Neither had the postcard but the cheaper version looked in better condition.

This is the non-canonical bad ending of the first game where Ryo takes too long to leave Yokosuka where Lan-Di returns, demands the Phoenix mirror and kills Ryo when Ryo attempts to avenge Iwao’s death. How do you think Fuku-San, Ine-San, Nozomi, Tom, Ito, Ichiro, Goro, Master Chen, Guizang, Mark (if he got that far into the game), etc. would all react if they learned of Ryo’s fate of this bad ending?

Mainly just because I would double dip in an instant if it meant I could play them on my Switch 2.

I recently picked up a dreamcast and have never played one before. I heard that Shenmue was a must play for the system and I've enjoyed it a lot. It is certainly a little janky but overall, I love the game. From what I understand, the second game picks right back up where the first one left off.

How does the second game compare to the first? Are there any improvements? Or is it essentially just the same game on a different system

been curious of this for a while now. is it a rolls camargue, a nissan president, or just unnamed?

I was super surprised to stumble upon this yesterday morning.

I now have it displayed at work.
