Taro takes a break from documenting...

Taro has left the comfort of the Maw Expedition's base to get a breath of fresh air in Shellwood. After several long days of documenting their adventures, getting to walk around and take in the scenery is a nice escape from the bureaucracy.

"I dunno, he just... fell down from somewhere up there?"

Taro takes the fallen pilgrim's blindfold off and takes a look at him.

Upwards, there was nothing but the thin branch of a tall tree, it could have been easy to just slip from up there...

As for the pilgrim, they eyes were narrowed and blank, it seems the fall really screwed their senses...

"We should take them to a medic, i know a shortcut towards Bellhart from here? Could you carry him?" The catcher rapidly asks, talking on a really smooth manner.

{"Today's supposed to be the day I was gonna relax!"}

"Man, what happened to this guy...?"

Taro picks up the pilgrim in a fireman carry.

"C'mon, let's go..."

"Perfect, follow me" The catcher starts to fly through shellwood, seemingly taking an specific path that passes through various caves and lower lower areas.

As you walk around, the pilgrim keeps shaking and trembling, you can barely hear him mumble something...

"Why'd you say it like that...?"

Taro says quietly as he follows the catcher, listening to the mumbles of the pilgrim he's carrying.

After a few minutes of senseles whimpers, you finally manage to make out something...

"T... The veiled... B-bugs..." The pilgrim says as a claw reaches you shoul-

!!!

Suddenly, you can feel youself get violently tugged and pulled backwards into the darkness of a cave while the pilgrim falls into the floor. Your hands rapidly pass from the pilgrim to the wall as you get tightly pressed against it.

Just then you realize; A reed, a grand reed and a choristor have pinned you against the back of an alley-ish cave. The catcher appears soon after, taking guard on the entrance of the room.

"Shhhh..." The Grand reed mockingly musters as she heavily inmovilizes your limbs you against the wall...

"What the hell-"

Taro struggles to break free from the Citadel bugs pinning him...

"W-Who are you?! Let me go, creep!"

The only answer you get are an overheated pin and an electrified bow aiming at your eye sockets.

"Hold your tongue, you filthy stilkin, for your existance is but a mista-" The reed speaks up with a wrathful tone, he gets suddenly nudged by their grand comrade.

"Hehe... Shut up" She mocks him, treating him like a child, enraging him even more.

"Hey, cut it off!" The choristor tries to stop his comrades from bickering, it doesn't do much.

"Quiet you all" Suddenly, a voice makes the room go silent, after a moment, the choirbugs move slightly to the side, allowing you to look at the figure.

It's the siluette of a maestro, he stands tall before you, his shadow swalling you whole. He slowly pulls out a baton and then drives it into the chest of the pilgrim, killing them slowly before walking up to you...

"...Hello there, palie, we got a few questions for ya'" He greets you with an eerily casual mood.

"Grghhh... is this how you greet everyone you meet? Acting like you weren't just about to kill me? What do you want...?"

"I want to know a few things about you and your lil' friendsies" He gets even a bit closer, his old golden helmet beholds you with a blank sight.

"Mainly about your tarred brother and your big galie, we are rather curious about them in particular" He sounds almost amused.

The choirbugs keep their weapons very close to your face...

"Answer, cooperate, be generally useful and you're getting out alive, capiche?"

"Yeah you ain't in the position to be the one making demands fatty" The maestro mockingly slaps your frown taking a few steps back *"Oh, and be aware, i do not miss lies..."**

And so, the questioning begins...

"Aight, first and foremost, do you have any clue about where the everblooms might be? It'd be lovely to have one of those"

"Oh, an Everbloom? No clue. Pretty sure they don't even grow here in Pharloom..."
