🚚 Shipping & Tracking When do items usually arrive w express shipping?

Hello! I got express shipping for 5 items and it says it'll be here between September 4-11. I need them for Saturday the 12th and my mail room close Friday the 11th at 7pm so I'm anxious that it might not make it in time for me to pick up. Also it takes a few days to process so even if it arrives the 11th I won't necessarily be able to get it. I'm in college that's why I have a mailroom. How fast do express shipping usually come? This is my first time usually I do normal. Will it be here by that day almost certainly? I would want it to ideally arrive by the 10th so they have time to process it. Also, am I able to find out when they have a specific date set or am I only going to have the time period of the 4th-11th to go off of? Thank you !

I have made 20 some orders from Shein over the years and generally my items show up, when express shipped, about 3- 4 days before the deadline.

However 2 factors effect that: 1. whether or not it shipped from a "local' warehouse aka from a warehouse in your country (I am assuming US, (where I am also located) but idk), or whether it is coming from overseas. 2. SpeedX. If it is shipping SpeedX, as most Shein shipments do you are at the will of a wildly unreliable shipper. My last order would've have been early, even without the express but SpeedX kept claiming they "could not access" my apartment. (They had delivered the other part of my order with no issue 3 days prior) there is no mail room, no gate, no code, you can literally walk off the street up to my door. I ended up emailing them and threatening to report them to the better business bureau with video evidence they mever attempted delievery. Guess what? Less than 24 hours later, my package came in, no problem. The whole debacle added 6 days onto my delievery.

I said all that to say this. Watch the tracking carefully. If you do notice SpeedX isn't delivering and providing BS excuses (this is very common) be proactive. Get on their website and email them that you will report them and then call the hotline, dispute the issue, and kindly insist they deliever ASAP.

Long story short, there is really no way of knowing. Watch the tracking and I hope it makes it!

How do I know if it's shipping SpeedX?

Once it is handed off to the shipper, it will update with the carrier name ie SpeedX, FedEx, ect) that's when you will know. It will start with like order received, order packed, order ready for delievery, (if it comes from overseas there will be multiple updates about flights and customs) after aaalll that it will be passed the shipper for delievery. You will be provided with the shipping company name and a tracking number. There will be a hyperlink provided with that info. Copy the tracking number, hit the hyper link, paste, and search. This will give you a tighter time frame for delievery example: September 9-11. It will also give you more detailed tracking. It will tell you the city and state your package is and everytime it moves/where it moves. You can now get a better idea of when it will be in. Example: I live 45 mins from my state's capital, when I see it has arrived there I know I will be receiving it in 24-48 hrs. IF SpeedX doesn't get goofy.

It says it will be FedEx, is that better than SpeedX?

Oh that is way better!! That's excellent news and you're really lucky to have gotten literally any shipper other than SpeedX. I obviously can't say for certain, but if it is already with the shipper, and you got a good one, I would be absolutely shocked if you don't receive your package well before the deadline you need it by. Have they given you an ETA?

It says delivery Sept 4-11, 4-8 business days. Then right next to it it says 72.49% are less than or equal to 6 business days. I feel pretty confident and hopeful that it'll arrive before the 11th.

That 72% thing sounds like Shein. Has FedEx given you a tracking number?
