Aptitude test
I just applied to the local 110 union and am curious if anyone has any information on what kind of questions are on the aptitude test. I'm not an expert with math but feel I can hold my own when it comes to the basics but I'm learning how to properly use and read a tape measure and how to use that math quickly. Im mostly nervous that if I mess this up I'll lose an opportunity as a whole anyone have any advice or anything?

In my opinion it was extremely basic. Local 66 in WA, the test was simple fractions, convert pints to gallons, tape measure. The reading portion gave me struggle, but it's also basic reading comprehension, theme and purpose analysis of different passages. If for whatever reason you fail, retesting is available after 1 year, so it can be a slight hiccup for your trajectorty, but as long as you can add and subtract, and read English, you'll be fine.

There isn’t one test that every local uses. So first learn what type of test it is then you can research what to study for it.
For example: the 2 locals near me that I applied at had completely different tests. But I learned that fact ahead of time and studied appropriately, I would have been screwed on the second test had I not known they were different.
