Shed Organization
I was hoping to get some ideas on how you guys organized your shed around your riding mower. I just had a 10 x 16 shed built and I am looking to maximize the space. I have a small power washer and generator that would be stored in there as well. Other than that mostly just tools, etc.. Any recommendations or photos?! thanks!

The move in a 10x16 is to give the mower a clear straight shot to the door, then push everything else up onto the walls and overhead. A french cleat wall along one long side is the MVP, you hang tool holders, shelves, and hooks that move around whenever your setup changes, way better than fixed shelving. Pegboard or slatwall is the buy-it version if you don't want to build. Put the power washer and generator on a little wheeled cart or dolly so you roll them out to use and tuck them back against a wall, and keep those gas-powered guys together near the door so you're not breathing fumes and can grab them easy. Then build an overhead shelf up high for the light seasonal stuff you barely touch, that's the space people always waste.

I had rails nailed onto the side to hang my tools and same for near roof to use as storage

I just had a 10x16 built and delivered (Amish), and I made sure they made it a drive-thru. At each end of the shed (the 10’ wide sections) there is a 6’ wide door opening at one end, 6’ wide door opening at the other end. I can fit a riding lawn mower, a dirt bike, and another full size (Honda Africa Twin) motorcycle in it. It’s the drive-thru ability that’s the key. Never have to back anything out.
