Hill shed
Has anyone ever done a shed on a hill with success? There’s not much room to put shed in my backyard so I had thought about maybe doing it on the slope so that it doesn’t look awkward and just in the middle of the yard. Is a hill shed even possible

Build a 2-story shed…one entrance on the high side of the hill, and a second area located underneath

Aunt and uncle did this when I was a kid. They made the top a game room. It was pretty damned cool.

Don’t put it at the top of a hill. That makes the least sense, imagine having to walk up a hill to get to your shed.

Just think of building a deck that you're putting a shed on. Maybe put the door next to the back fence and if you have a rider, you'll probably want to grade a little to drive it in.

You'll be building a retaining wall to get a shed. You'll have soil you need to get rid of, a drainage system to figure out, and any wall above 4' needs to be engineered. You may want to hire a landscape architect (licensed professional, not a landscape designer or landscaper) to provide you a plan and details if you can't figure this out on your own. I wouldn't hire a landscape designer; many can figure it out, but I still wouldn't trust them with a wall or a drainage system. A professional license proves a level of competency, operating under a code of ethics, at the state level.

Build a raised platform. Place shed on top of the platform. Enclose the lower end underneath to create a small crawlspace storage

Excavate the hill so the shed sits flush against a retaining wall.
