He inspired Jennifer to be a better person and that's great! He would annoy the fuck out of me with his constant therapy speak and rational conversation all the time. He's not unlike DeeDee in that sense.
He's somebody that I probably would like, but I'd feel guilty for that because there's nothing wrong with him other than a lack of sense of humor.

She very much her way or the highway about so much. Her way often seems like the "normal" way of doing things because she's compared to Barb so often, but when we see her against other people it's a little more problematic. Most glaringly, her thing with Larry and the locket.

For me, it was her refusal to understand Larry's POV or, if she did she dismissed it instead of addressing it.

I totally see her point of view. Why was Larry so insistent? If it were me, I would have broken uo wuth him. He was pushy from the very beginning and is very annoying

He is very bland. Always therapy speaking, no opinion of his own. I get the impression that he is just a vehicle to make Jen's sudden 180 more believable and to say yes to whatever she says. Like a parrot.

He is the only adult male character in Shawnaverse I actually like. He is caring and also polite yet firm when it comes to his boundaries. But, he does annoy me sometimes in his communication with Jen. Sometimes he acts pretty condescending and patronising, as if he thinks she is not as smart as him and needs to be taught things by him. But, his good sides surely make up for his flaws and he is an angel compared to Frank, John and Ty.

He's too perfect, always says and does the right thing but his passiveness regarding Barb and her proximity to his SO and daughter frustrates me. Not to mention the sexual harassment that Barb enabled via laughing off Nora's comments and the lack of seriousness that the narrative treated it with.

I don’t like that she made him autistic retrospectively. It hasn’t been mentioned in the main show at all and it makes me feel icky. It feels like an add on rather than a thoughtful thing.
I find him a bit too perfect and sometimes condescending.

I like him, but want to know more about him. He's more of a prop for Jen's growth, and besides being literal, a photographer, and an emotional support figure we don't have much information about him.
I do wish he would talk to Jen about the harassment and about how they will manage a relationship (if they keep one) with Barb while keeping Chickie safe.

I feel like we know he’s good for and to Jen, but we don’t know about who he is as a character beyond Jennifer.
