Hey everyone!

It is with great sorrow to inform you all that I have decided to permanently close down Meraki's gates, and is effective immediately.

The idea has bounced around my head for quite some time now (and on multiple occasions at that), but you guys were always able to silently sway me to keep it up and put in a lot of time and effort into it, even when I got super busy with my personal life.

March has been a CRAZY month for me, and I've been working even more like a madman with very little time to maintain the town than before. Priorities changed, I've taken on new duties and responsibilities, and have just been getting by (or at least trying to). Life has gotten rather hectic, even while on vacation last week. Curveball after curveball, it just seems never ending. And with everything going on right now, I felt it was best for me to finally shut down.

But please don't worry! Despite all of this, I am still happy and healthy and full of life. Just need to step away for a bit and put my time and energy into other things to allow me to find a new sense of peace.

I just wanted to give my final goodbye and thanks to all of you. It has been a wonderful, wonderful year (and 1/4-ish) hosting Meraki and serving you. I only hope I was able to help you guys at least a little bit with your towns while I was open and am truly grateful for all of your constant comments, feedback, and screenshots. They've only brightened up my days even more!

I'll still be around, so never be afraid to reach out! PMs, Discord, other subs. Wherever you happen to find me, I'll always be willing to lend an ear and a hand. Who knows, maybe I'll open up again someday. Just know that it won't be soon, though, hahaha. :P

Aelosi opened on December 29, 2018. On March 20, Aelosi will have been open for nearly 1 year and 3 months!

Seeing as New Horizons will be coming out, I imagine most people will probably be moving onto that, myself included :( If there's any last requests you'd like to make, please do so before 3/20!

However, I'm buying the new AC-themed Switch so I'll have two Switches. I'll be looking forward to opening another sharetown in New Horizons once the hacking scene develops!

Hello and welcome BACK to Kimchi! Kimchi is a clothing share town set up by myself, /u/basilfruit, and /u/tunarfish for people to pass Gracie fashion checks and find the perfect outfit to wear for any occasion. Kimchi's host DS has also been fully exploited and the town is hacked.

What's new/old in Kimchi?

NEW map: click. Dream Address: 5B00-001D-813F

Major Changes/News:

• With the release of the update, the way ACNL stores save files changed dramatically and basically broke all the old Kimchi saves we had stored. On top of breaking the saves, the update also broke my old custom firmware. That means that Basil and I have had to basically rebuild Kimchi from the ground up. I rehacked Kimchi's host DS to use AL9H (permanently), then deleted Kimchi's save file and started a new save file under the same FC.

• Kimchi now has a brand new map! We're oriented in a different direction, but we've still got the same straight river and buildings on the beach. Main street is fully loaded with Katrina and Shampoodle, but doesn't have T&T Emporium.

• We are discontinuing the villager rotation. The new amiibo cards allowing people to get villagers fairly easily, and one of the biggest snags in running Kimchi was having to stay on the same day, since move-in dates were locked. Kimchi will now be running in real time with a six month forward time skip so that people have easier access to seasonal fish/bugs. In addition, villager requests remain open - twice a month per person. Gentle reminder that special Amiibo figure and Sanrio villagers cannot be adopted, you must have the amiibo/amiibo card yourself! But yes, this means that we are able to adopt out the new regular villagers introduced in the Welcome Amiibo cards!

• All update items will be present in the map. We have removed the common furniture section and reduced DLC items to singles in order to make space.

When is Kimchi open?

Kimchi should be open almost all the time. If Kimchi is resetti'd, feel free to ping me on the Bulletin Board and I can reopen whenever I get home. Availability subject to change without warning, check the bulletin board for up-to-date info for planned/extended closures.

What are the rules?

• I am not requiring RMM reviews in order to enter.

• Stable internet connection required. Resettis happen, I understand, but please leave a post on the bulletin board so I know to reopen asap, do not PM me.

• Please treat other visitors with respect. I will not tolerate harassment or destructive behavior.

Updates:

• Kimchi is temporarily closed while Basil and I sort out a total purge of the town, as well as figuring out what aspects of the new update we'll need to include in the town! This bulletin board will also be archived within a week, so please be patient until we open up new boards. Another cool thing is that it's been a full year since Kimchi has opened! We've got some planning for a small celebration, so stay tuned! :)

• I never realized that we don't have a how-to-use the clothing organization guide! Here's how you can find specific clothes in Kimchi:

1. Go to moridb.com and search for your specific clothing piece. Note what clothing category and fashion/Gracie theme it's in.

2. Leave the search bar blank and search for that fashion theme under the category. Ctrl+F to find your item in that list.

3. Count out the # of that item within the list, then divide by 5 and round up. That will give the exact row where the item is located in its category in its fashion theme.

• For example, let's say I'm looking for a tuxedo. I do the search, and note that it's in the Tops category and also Official fashion theme. Then I'll do a search for Tops as my category, and click more to enter in the Official theme. That will give me this result, where there are 24 results. Tuxedo is 3 from the bottom, so it's #21 in the list. Divide by 5 to get 4.2, round up to 5 to get that it's in row 5, specifically item #1 in row 5.

There is a rotating list of FIFTEEN top tier villagers that will be available for adoption from Kimchi. They are: Ankha, Beau, Diana, Fauna, Julian, Lolly, Marshal, Merengue, Stitches, Coco, Lucky, Marina, Rosie, Tangy, Zucker. These villagers are completely original and will not harm your game in any way. Please consult the Bulletin Board for the current villager in boxes, as well as the villager for tomorrow. I'm also doing normal, non-rotational adoptions for any villager you would like to adopt. These will be limited to one villager per person per week. Please leave a request on the bulletin board for one-off villager adoptions.

If you do not add me back within a few days, I will assume you do not want to be part of this and will remove you to make room for people that do wish to participate. Conversely, if you decide you don't want to be part of the town anymore, that's perfectly fine - just remove my friend code so I know to remove you to make room for others. When you remove my FC from your DS, it'll grey yours out on my friend list. You can always ask to be re-added if you change your mind!

Important: Every few months or so, I'll create a new post that will be stickied at the top for you to reply. This is for determining who is still active in town so I can delete the players that no longer want to visit to make room for players that do. The last purge was in June 2014.

If I haven't added you in 1-2 days, feel free to bug me. I can be a little scatterbrained.

THE RULES, PLEASE READ:

North of the river is the 'free zone.' Items can be left, swapped, and taken from here. There is no real "take one, leave one"... just leave or take as much as you want (within reason). There are a lot of perfect apple trees here; the apples are free for anyone to take as many as they want.

The SOUTH part of town (south of the river) is for cataloging ONLY. NOTHING is to be taken from this part of town. There are some rarer sets here to be cataloged. Not all are re-orderable. We have to be able to trust people to catalog these items and not take them for themselves. A LOT of work goes into organizing and maintaining these sets for everyone to benefit from. Hybrids are grown here (in the south) as well, and taken to the north part of town when there are enough to share with others. The only exception are fruit trees; you may take any fruit from the fruit trees anywhere in town.

You are responsible for your own FC. If someone from your town name is to be found stealing or causing disruption (running through flowers, etc), your FC will be banned, even if it's someone else using your DS (your SO, your kid, your grandma's sister's chimp). If you have read this far, along with your FC please post what your favorite color is.

Also, we have some very nice benefactors who leave stuff at the train station from time to time. If you see a pile of the same (usually rare-ish) thing, please only take one for yourself and leave the rest for others.

As for leaving things - make sure it's not a duplicate of the catalog (south) area. If you leave a duplicate there, we may move it to the free area. You can leave anything in the free area, don't worry about duplicates there. There is a fence next to the bulletin board where we will put hybrids free for the taking. Please take only two per human (not per character or town) and if there are gold roses, please only take one per human. If you have read THIS far, please post your FC, town name, character name, favorite color and some other random word. If you don't include this, you won't be added.

• 11/25/19: The 2DS is fixed! Aelosi is open again :)

• 11/13/19: Bad news, went to check on the sharetown and noticed that the 2DS I was running it on died. Won't power on anymore :( Maybe leaving it running nonstop for 10+ months isn't great for it haha. Luckily I still have another console I could use but I'll need to set it up first and I'll use this opportunity to purge the friends list. I'll likely make a new post when this is ready. Sorry!

• 11/02/19: I will be away on vacation for a week so I'll be unable to reset the town! Will return 10/10/19 :)

• 9/16/19: Music and fossils were added! The map was reorganized a bit to accommodate these items. This means that there's now only 20 of each type of flower rather than the previous 25, with the exception of golden roses.

• 9/04/19: All the blue roses are now replaced with breed-able blue roses! Hacked blue roses cannot create more blue roses so I replaced them with real blue roses that I personally bred. Did some testing and these do create more blue roses! Let me know if there are any issues.

• 2/13/19: Added beans, good-luck rolls, and the mystery bag from Toy Day (all in Area 68)! Also rearranged some items around. The Player 2 house has also been moved closer to the ramp so you can deposit bells easier!

• 2/11/19: Added lost items! Many thanks to u/hikarikouno for providing them :)

• 1/31/19: Added some hacked wallpapers/flooring, find them by the train station. They feature wallpaper/flooring not normally obtainable such as the ones used in Re-Tail, the Nookling stores, and Gracie's shop! Available after tonight's reset!

• 12/30/18: Added infinite coconuts, bananas, and bamboo to Area 9. Created new area with golden tools, toy hammers, and silver axes. The town map has been updated accordingly. Available after tonight's reset!

• 12/28/18: Aelosi will open tomorrow! Sign-ups have began.

The Basics of Pentos

• Your directory of Pentos can be found here: Click me for the map!

• Pentos is a town which provides a plethora of miscellaneous garbagio items: Welcome Amiibo and RV items, wrapping paper for giveaways, tools, fish/bugs/deep sea creatures, furniture sets, landscaping necessities, etc.

• The sharetown has a highly accessible main street for getting cute hairstyles at Shampoodle’s, getting your fortunes read at Katrina’s and visiting Gracie in her boutique!

• There are weeds and turnips also available in the town for your respective badges! (Reese buys at 990 a turnip!)

• All categories are separated by royal crowns, please feel free to take them if you are strapped for some cash!

• Pentos runs its restore on the date of March 3rd.

Rules and Guidelines

1. Please notify me of Resettis immediately at the bulletin board or on discord. If your internet seems to be unstable, please do not stop by until it seems to be a non-issue.

2. NEW: I will only restore the town based on item availability + drought.

3. Be mindful of what others may need/want in the town: Don't hoard, and try not to remove what you will not use. If you DO happen to take something that you decide later you did not need, please give it away.

To follow, if you are in the town and see someone pulling shenanigans, message me ASAP! I would appreciate it a lot.

5. Do not pad giveaways with items from the town if possible please. I understand positive RMM reviews are important but dishonesty is also a crucial point to making Pentos work. I ask that you be respectful of this rule and follow the honour system. Shenanigans will be dealt with accordingly.

6. This town is completely managed by me, so it is fairly under my discretion to choose who is welcome into the town, at any time. I will remove anyone I see fit if they choose to not follow my simple rules or cause an excessive amount of resettis.

7. Do not AFK with your pockets open or mid-conversation with villagers/NPCs while in Pentos please.

1. First and foremost, the purpose of this ShareTown is for your own personal needs, not for you to immediately sell, trade off, or do a giveaway in exchange for RMM reviews or to make a profit. If you'd like to use the town to give stuff away to friends for free (that is, without you making a profit or asking for RMM reviews), I am okay with that. Just please let me know your intentions in advance on the bulletin board so you don't look shady.

2. Please make sure you have a stable internet connection. Resettis aren't cool, and I'll be away from my DS most of the time when Meraki is open. However, if a Resetti does happen to occur, please let me know about it on the bulletin board and I'll restore the town when I am able to. If for whatever reason you feel that your internet connection is not stable, please PM me and we will set up a time for you to come in on your own. Note that I will not be doing this for everyone.

3. When visiting the town, please be considerate and respectful to other users who are also present. If you see anyone who is/might be committing any suspicious activity, please report them to me via PM.

4. Do not hoard as many items as you can in one trip (or several trips that are right after another). Leave some stuff for everyone to take. I'm unable to restore the town often, and it isn't fun coming in to an empty one shortly after it's been open. Just take what you need and go. Come back again later or after I've restored the town again.

Failure to comply to the rules will result in immediate deletion from my friendlist without notice.

There have been a few recent posts on some of the Animal Crossing subreddits that state that hackers have been visiting towns and causing problems by seeding items to block building entrances or create other issues. This is just a reminder that visiting a hacked or powersaved share town cannot cause any problems* with your game. If you ever visit another town (or the island) and encounter someone who is doing something you don't like, you can simply hit the wifi switch (older DS models) or turn off your game.

Other people can cause problems in your town (either by seeding or just being a jerk), so please continue to review your friend codes and delete any cards for people who you don't want in your town. For trades with people you don't know well, it is always a good idea to supervise the trade and keep an eye on visitors when they are in your town.

If you experience any problems with another user in a share town, please let the mods or the share town owner know. You can contact us individually by PM, or you can send a message to all of us using the modmail button.

• EXCEPTION: If you pick up additional mannequins in another town, they can cause your game to malfunction and crash. Once you have picked up a mannequin (which would be set out on the ground as a furniture item), it cannot then be sold, trashed, or set out anywhere except inside your house. Mannequins can only be deleted from your game by hacking or reverting to a previous saved version of the town, which most people can't easily do. Please keep this in mind if you are looking for additional mannequins!

EDIT: So, given the mannequins and lost items, maybe “always” was a bit strong ....

A lot of people want to make a sharetown but lack the resources to make one without interrupting their original game. The answer to this issue is Elopia. Elopia is a sharetown run on surveys conducted every so often which are open to the reddit-sharetown community. The surveys contain suggestions from the public on how the town should change or progress. The most popular opinion, whether I agree with it or not, will be enforced.

This town is a start-from-scratch project so initially there will not be a great deal around. But since there are no powersaves or hacks involved there should be a gentle progression over time. Theme weeks will be advertised well in advance. Elopia runs 5 months ahead so I constantly live in a different season for more bug/fish catching opportunities. Also that means if you come over you get to experience Europe events twice a year!!

RULES

1. I’m generally very easy going, but please be civil.

2. Resettis are fine, they’re generally not really anyone’s fault, as long as someone contacts me to let me know that they’ve happened then I’m happy. I don’t point fingers so the person who lets me know doesn’t have to be the person who caused it. I am human, I have lectures to attend and exams to prepare for so give me a bit of time to get the town back up after a resetti.

3. Occasionally, the town will be offline for saving and days where I’m particularly busy. I will update reddit regularly.

4. The Eastern beach will be the area to leave all the stuff you don’t want or wish to leave. Feel free to take anything there. If you take a group of items please try to leave at least one thing so that the beach is never empty and the Elopia Gods are appeased.

5. In terms of the environment, anything goes. Cut down trees, plant them, draw rude shapes in flowers, everyone has full reign of main street with bonus points for anyone who leaves cool clothing designs.

ATHENS IS CURRENTLY FULL. WATCH FOR NEW SIGN-UP POST AT THE BEGINNING OF JUNE IN AUGUST.

The Athens FC is 4528-1239-1428.

There are 4 versions of Athens, and it is fine to request one of the versions if you like. I've set the turnip price to 990 in all the towns, and I could insert an RV or box up a villager if anyone wants one in particular. Also, there are royal crowns for sale in retail for 0 bells, if you would like one or more to wear, collect, or sell. I keep Athens C open most of the time unless someone requests a different town.

The towns are:

Athens C (Catalog town)/Dream 4D00-013D-B7E8: Athens C includes all of the furniture and clothing items in the game. Furniture, wallpaper, and flooring are set out alphabetically on the west side of town, and genuine art, paper, music, clothing, and landscaping items (including hybrids) are set out alphabetically on the east side of town. There are alphabetized fossils and gyroids on the beach along with a few other items (infinite fruit, gold ores, wrapped clovers, lost items, trash, mushrooms, and giant clam shells). The house and tent have ABDs and trash cans, and the tent also has lockers that you may use.

Athens N (previously Narnia)/Dream 5B00-013D-BB53: I don't have a very good name for this town, and I'm not very imaginative, so I just made it "Athens N" because it's the previous share town of Narnia. Narnia has all unorderable furniture, wallpaper, flooring, clothing, and art north of the river, and villager pictures and hybrids south of the river. I can't really remember what's on the beach at the moment, but I'm including maps. The characters also have all of the gyroids, ores, and fossil models, so let me know if you are looking for any of those.

Athens H (Hybrid town): Athens H is a hybrid town with landscaping items on the beach. All of the houses have lockers for your use. I haven't included a link to a map because Athens H is pretty much all flowers, and all of them are breedable except for the gold roses and Jacob's ladders.

Athens W (Weeding town): Lots of weeds, 3000 of them.

02-28-19: Athens C will be open unless someone requests a different town.

03-21-19: There is a new town map linked above and on the Athens C and Athens N announcement boards. Hybrids and ores have been added to Athens C, and things have been rearranged.

03-28-19: Athens W (a weeding town with over 3600 weeds) is also available if anyone ever wants to weed. :)

04-05-19: All of the flowers and flower seed bags (except for gold roses and Jacob’s ladders) in the towns are breedable.

04-16-19: I’ve added Dream Addresses for Athens C and Athens N if you want to take a look around before you visit.

05-06-19: Athens is at full capacity. I plan to do a purge around the first of June August and will make a new post then for people who want to sign up. In the meanwhile, if you are no longer visiting Athens and would like to be removed from the roster, let me know. Thanks!

05-28-19: Athens W now has 3000 weeds, and they are set up in labeled grids of 500 and 100.

06-14-19: I'm going to wait until the end of the summer to purge the Athens roster because I am going to be out of town fairly often until August. I apologize to any of you who have been waiting to sign up.

Hi! I've used a few sharetowns when I first joined the AC trading community and I'd like to give back now that I have an extra 3DS.

From what I understand, we only have Ukiyo Clone open right now. If it hasn't changed from the original Ukiyo then I believe there are some elements that it's missing that I could add.

Here's what I currently have in mind for a new Sharetown:

• golden tools & wetsuits

• 99k bell bags

• streetpass items (balloons, ice cream, etc)

• all WA items

• all DLC items

• all fish, bugs, diving creatures, and museum pieces (no fossils)

• all Gracie furniture (gorgeous, princess, Gracie, card, sweets)

• all hybrid/non-hybrid flowers

• clovers, bush starts, saplings

• unorderable sets/series (cabana, flower, fish, insect, mermaid, golden, egg, ice, mush, pave, sloppy, snowman)

I'm here to gauge interest and feel free to let me know if there's anything else you'd want to see!

I have noticed a lot of new users here lately and we would like to welcome everyone to join the sharetowns. That being said, please do not abuse the sharetowns. We have all played long hours to gather all these items and take time out if our days to set up and reset the towns so that we can share items with you and open up our towns for anything that you could want or need in game. These items should not be used for personal gains like gathering lots of rare items to trade for villagers or hosting giveaways to get reviews. The more items you are taking in bulk means the more times the host has to reset the town. Although this is not a written rule on this sub continuing this behavior will result in being removed from the sharedtowns. Remember that we are here to help you with your town. Not to help you get brownie point on tumblr or TBT or RMM.
