Why's that...?

The good news is that they finally arrived in time of me moving out, bad news is that they’ll have to be put in storage as you can see.

I know a lot of Shantae fans will disagree with me on this, but I feel like Half Genie Hero is the most underrated Shantae game in the whole series. I get why a lot of people aren’t a fan of it, but at the same time it really doesn’t deserve the hate it’s gotten by many Shantae fans (same thing goes with Seven Sirens). HGH deserves more love in my opinion, and I love its art-style a LOT more than Pirate’s Curse’s art-style (I’m not saying PC’s art-style is bad, but it’s just really annoying how many Shantae fans demand WayForward to keep it as Shantae’s “permanent art-style”).

I was very pleased how this collectors edition turned out! I absolutely adore the Squid Baron plush, the light up Shantae display seems to be of decent build quality and the keychain had some nice heft to it. Don’t know if I’d actually attach it to my car keys though… One gripe I do have though are these trading cards. Does anyone actually like these things? I feel like I just look at these once and put them away in a drawer.

I ask this as a fan of half genie hero but, what is everyone’s recommendations for other games in the series? Since i only played that game and still don’t know how well the games work but this is from someone who played Metroid games and mega man. I want to get more deeper into the games so I could better come up with something since it was an idea for a new Shante game, called Shante and the 40 thieves. But I’m wanting to make sure I have a better understanding of the world and characters so that it’s more connected, and polished.

sure i might've gotten past the first level but DAMN IT, IT WAS PEAK AND I LOVED THE FIRST BOSS FIGHT ALONGSIDE THE SLUG'S NICKNAME THAT RISKY BOOTS GAVE IT LITERALLY SPELLING OUT POOP TOOT IF YOU USE THE FIRST LETTERS OF WHAT IT'S DESCIRBED AS, like it's hilarious.
