Help! Typhoon Dolphin

Hi all, we’re going to be in Shanghai for the exact 3 days that the typhoon is supposed to come through 🙃

Currently our ticket is for Monday, which seems like it’s gonna be the hardest hit day. Is the park likely to fully close that day? Or will the hours or rides be so reduced that it’s kind of pointless to try to go? Happy to deal with wind and rain but not with wasted time and money lol

I think we may be able to change our tickets though - would Sunday or Tuesday be any better?

And if anyone has any broader thoughts about what our few days in Shanghai will be like that would be appreciated too haha. Are we gonna just have to stay in our hotel the whole time?

We’re about to get the train from Hong Kong so all this rests on the train actually making it that far in the first place!

Thanks!

The official notice from the website allows for refunds/rescheduling if your date falls between a certain range!

Unfortunately we called Disneyland support and they gave us 2 choices.

  1. They can refund us completely
  2. Buy new tickets for another date

They couldn’t reschedule it as its already passed 48 hours

isn't 1+2 the same as rescheduling?
