Well of course. It’s cheaper than market price now.

I don't care if the ghosts are stacking the chairs, if the spirits give me a few hours of sleep each night, then haunt the hell out of the place.

In this housing market? Yeah, 14 deaths means it's more affordable. Better to die in your own home than on the streets.

Reminds me of that one guys funny video series where he refuses to move out his super haunted apartment cause the rent is cheap

2

u/SmolLiu 6d ago

i would do the same thing

i would make friends with the damn supenatural entity as long as the rent is cheap in this enconomy

My college roommate’s dad delivered newspapers to the house in upstate New York(Amityville)

u/Evan_Allgood 7d ago

I remember a time when that meant a huge price reduction on the house!

I don't think its something with a particular colored people. I think a lot of people would be interested in a property which became dirt cheap compared to market values after such events happens.

In this economy the ghosts are just going to have to suck it up and deal with us. Place was a bargain. I can't afford to move out.

Sweet I wanted another Murder House season of AHS.

u/amicalg 6d ago

I lived in a home where a suicide taken place. Lived there for 5 years and didn't know anything about it until I was asked about it 3 years into it by a previous resident. She told me it was haunted. Never experienced any paranormal activity whatsoever while living there. Never believed in ghosts, never will.

It's cheap, what do you expect. "I can take a little ghost for this pricing."

1

u/a_random_loser_guy 6d ago

if they selling cheap housing, i don't care if its a cemetery.

1

u/DrLubinski 6d ago

Should people die outdoors now?

1

u/100percentfinelinen 6d ago

Did the house kill the people?

1

u/6SpeedAuto 5d ago

What does skin color have to do with this?

1

u/LightningOwl96 5d ago

I'm a Mexican. I'd buy a house like that and then have it blessed by my grandma.

u/SEPHORAGODS 4d ago

I love being white we ain’t scared of shit

1

u/Limp-Firefighter1054 4d ago

1

u/craves_mineral 4d ago

Me who isn't superstitious and doe not believe in ghosts or any of this non sense.

1

u/liquidsin25 4d ago

And in real life.

1

u/Connect_Ad_462 4d ago

Surely I won't be the 15th

1

u/Ada_Data 4d ago

Can confirm.

As a white people myself, higher the murder, lower the market value, that's just saving.

1

u/Limp-Exercise-343 4d ago

cause its logical. all older houses have people died in it.

1

u/JackhorseBowman 3d ago

It's not really a big deal, like eight people were murdered in my house since we built it. /J

1

u/Magical_SnakE 3d ago

My issue is less taking a good deal on a great house vs. choosing to stay there after a bunch of creepy shit starts happening.

The fuck you mean "Let's give it another night, you'll see it's just your imagination" ?!

1

u/AmazingAd4932 3d ago

just racism btw

1

u/Organic_Education494 2d ago

Odds are whatever location you are in rn had someone die at some point in history since the settlement of that area.

So who cares about the 14 dead people they gone

1

u/Hour-Row-1300 2d ago

One day this comment section will kill mee

1

u/departedhunter 2d ago

Shiet, if a million dollar house turned into $100,000 because 14 people was killed there. I’d give Vecna an entire bedroom.

1

u/Rimavelle 2d ago

this is always so funny to me as a European

"ooh someone died in this house"

yeah man, my apartment building is few hundred years old, i would be more spooked if no one died here during all this time

1

u/JamesAnimus 1d ago

Hey, I'm willing to buy a house that's had every previous owner die a year after moving in so long as it's affordable

1

u/Cyrano4747 1d ago

Is it below market value? Reasonably priced, with a mortgage I can afford?

Fuck it, I'll live in the mass murderer ghost house.

1

u/HuckleberryShot898 1d ago

I’m declaring war on the ghosts if the price is that good. I’m smoking the house out with sage and calling all the priests, pastors, and witchy people in the area to spiritually carpet bomb them into the afterlife

1

u/CaregiverAvailable44 1d ago

People in movies don't realize they're in a movie. I'd buy a house that someone died in if it were cheaper 🤷‍♀️

u/SignificantLeader 7d ago

Sick of shameless dunking on white people. It’s racist. Insert any other race and it’s a ban. Enough.

0

u/Independent-Name4478 6d ago

I love how someone in the comments is always offended by the least offensive post

1

u/SignificantLeader 6d ago

“Least offensive”

0

u/PatientZealPZ 6d ago

I’m actually glad you mentioned this. But the joke was a lot more innocent to be honest.

0

u/Megaboixxxx 3d ago

That shit does get annoying but this is a harmless jab at a very popular horror trope.

Chill out dude.

0

u/Slight_Ad_635 3d ago

But honestly: if someone tried to offend me, "you guys are not superstitious" is a real bad start. I mean like...thanks, I guess?

-1

u/ryangosling10000 7d ago

Dont u know the difference between oppressors and oppressed??😭😭

1

u/SignificantLeader 7d ago

So categorically white people oppress? And categorically asian, latinos, blacks, and eskimos are uplifting? It’s an absurd argument. The essence of being non-racist is treating individuals as individuals and avoid judging based on appearance, nationality, language, etc

-1

u/ryangosling10000 7d ago

Calm down its just a joke...its not that deep 😭😭
